The collection contains corrections and amendments by James Douglas Anderson to the second edition of Joseph Addison Waddell's "Annals of Augusta County, Va.," 1936. The collection also contains Mrs. King's list of tombstones in the old cemetery at Old Providence Church, 1935; her notes on Lyman Chalkley's "Chronicles of the Scotch-Irish Settlement in Virginia...."; and the original index cards from which the notes were typed.
